Using film, (Re)Storying the Kuils River depicts a deep history and possible future of the Kuils River near Cape Town, South Africa, a site of increasingly high levels of chemical pollutants. Anthropologist Nikiwe Solomon and curator Adrian Van Wyk examine the impact of river management practices on those who live closest to the river, and its entanglement with social and political worlds.
