Nabil Ahmed

Nabil Ahmed is a writer, artist, and researcher. He participated in the 2012 Taipei Biennale and the 2014 Cuenca Biennale, and his works have been exhibited at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt (HKW) in Berlin, the Shanghai Study Centre at the University of Hong Kong Faculty of Architecture, and the South Asian Visual Arts Centre (SAVAC) in Toronto. He has written for Third TextVolume, and the book Forensis (Sternberg, 2014). He is co-founder and co-curator at “Call & Response,” an artist-run sound art project space based in London. He teaches in the architecture school at the CASS London Metropolitan University, where he runs the MA course in Architecture, History, Theory, and Interpretation. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Centre for Research Architecture at Goldsmiths, University of London. Nabil has previously taught in the Department of Visual Cultures at Goldsmiths, and has been an invited critic at the Architectural Association in London and at the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Westminster.
