    Global Environment and Democracy

    Learning in the Anthropocene II

Who is we and what is justice in the epoch of the Anthropocene? When we think of the environmental problems under the light of the Anthropocene, we confront the difficulty of how to define the “we” and the justice, because the epoch requires new ways of thinking about a phenomenon which goes beyond borders of states, of generations, and even of species. This colloquium and workshop will rethink how to define the democracy in the Anthropocene and seek a new way to the future-planning which overcomes this “Anthropocenic” difficulty.
